FlexTune System Allows Vertical & Horizontal View

Macally has announced the new FlexTune portable stereo system and iPod and iPhone dock on Macworld 2008. You can choose between vertical and horizontal iPod Touch and iPhone placement. With the capacity for horizontal docking, it’s easier to watch wide-screen videos via the iPhone and the iPod Touch amd can be used with the iPod classic and other MP3 players with the jack. The system features 1500mW power output per channel and is powered by 4 AA batteries. The FlexTune portable stereo system will be available for $59.99 nationwide.

Creative Travelsound i50 Speaker For The iPod Shuffle

Creative’s Travelsound i50 is a cool portable speaker for the 2G iPod Shuffle. The speaker comes in a brushed metal finish and features a built in lithium polymer rechargeable battery which lasts for 15hours of continuous playback. The battery can be recharged via the built in USB mini port. Its digital amplifier produces 700mW×2ch output with signal to noise ratio of 80dB. The Travelsound i50 measures 128mm × 47mm × 15mm and weighs 85grams and is available in Japan only for around $69.

The ITPA-220 is an affordable analog iPod dock for 5th-Generation iPods. It comes with the standard iPod compatible docking station and charger. The tube preamplifier has video output specifically for video iPods, dual 6N3 Tubes for warm analog sound, and Auxillary input for other audio devices like computers and non-Apple music players, etc. Active speakers feature 2X20 W amplifier, 4″ mid-bass drive and 1″ dome tweeter for good range. The wood acoustic-like structure enhances the audio quality, bass reflex port gives it a better bass response. This Tube amp costs $299, but wont be available until September. However you can pre-order it on the Dice website.

Onkyo made its newest dock for iPods! It has basic features such as the AM/FM tuner, CD player, and audio power of 5W. It’s compatible with all iPods. But, iPod fans will have to wait until the end of October to purchase one; price still unknown.
