What’s hot at CES 2009? One of the hottest gadgets is the Samsung P3 widescreen PMP. It is a successor to the previously released P2. The new gadget provides a 3 inch WQVGA TFT display (480×272pixel), FM radio, and Bluetooth. The new P3 gets the updated DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology, an upgraded EmoTure™ touch interface with true haptic feedback, voice recording, and a music easy access key called the “Music Hot Touch Key”. Samsung has finally and officially released its YP-P3 portable media player in South Korea. The gadget features a new 3 inch haptic touchscreen display (480 x 272 resolution), and a brushed aluminum body. Other features include flash-based UI with widget support, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, a built-in speaker, an integrated FM tuner/recorder, and voice recording capability. You can purchase the Samsung P3 in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models that retail for around $180, $211 and $248, respectively. [Akihabara]

Samsung will release the YP-PB2 BMW Edition very soon. This PMP can view DMB TV stations and comes bundled with personalized menu, BMW-themed wallpaper and other BMW goodies. No word yet on pricing so far. [PMPToday]
