
Dutch manufacturer Philips has exclusively launched the SA075 720P HD PMP in the Chinese market last month. The player supports a 24 bit 16-million-color touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels), supports 720p videos, and an HDMI output, so users can fully enjoy those 720p videos on a larger screen. The MPIO V7 is a 3-inch touchscreen PMP with a haptics and shake control. Available in 4GB and 8GB models, the gadget also features an FM transmitter to play music on your car stereo system. Energy Sistem comes back with a new portable media player series in the form of the Energy Sistem 32xx series. These gadgets support a 1.8-inch display screen and WMV, AVI, MP3 and WMA file formats. Samsung has entered the Chinese PMP market by releasing the YP-CM3. It is actually the Samsung’s first PMP with CMMB (Chinese mobile TV) support. The media player has a 3-inch display screen and supports multiple video codecs including MP4, AVI and SVI. No word yet on pricing. [IMP3]
