Philips has released a new member for its home theater family. Dubbed as the HTS8160B Soundbar, it consists of a Blu-ray disc player, the Ambisound HD speaker system, and a subwoofer. Its speaker system supports for Dolby True HD audio format and 7.1-channel surround sound. The HTS8160B is also compatible with the iPod/iPhone. Philips has announced the price and release date of its upcoming GoGear Opus personal media player. This new PMP offers a 2.8-inch screen, an FM radio, Bluetooth A2DP wireless audio and supports 720p resolution as well as the BBC iPlayer service. Philips will release three digital audio players in the form of the Raga, Spark, and Luxe (pictured). The Raga offers 2GB or 4GB of storage space, a small multi-line display, 27 hours of audio playback time per charge and will retail for $35 or $45, depending on the memory size. Meanwhile, the Spark comes with a 1.5 inch OLED color display with clix-style navigation and sub-$60 price tag. The last one is the LUXE that features the Bluetooth connectivity.
