The Avox NF-101 features an aluminum exterior, supports A-B repeat function and allows users to adjust the playing speed, an integrated FM radio, a voice recorder and is compatible with e-book. Pretty basic and to top it off, it comes with a 500W speaker bulit-in.

Acelab has released their slim T-DMB MP3 player in the Korean market. This one features an 2.8-inch LCD and DMB tuner along with Video playback support, an image viewer, e-book functionality and an integrated FM radio, and S5 touts to give you better reception where ever you go. Acelab made both a 4GB and 2GB versions going for $168 and $140. It’s pretty basic, but overall good quality. You wont be disappointed!

The Acorn DAP by Evergreen is not only made of wood, but a small oval MP3 player shaped like cupcake. It features 1GB of flash memory and compatible with MP3, WMA and OGG files, lastly it’s a DIY kit which means you have to build it! This is sure to hit Japan very soon.

Creative Japan is releasing their Zen 32GB version for about $366 with all the basics such as a 2.5 QVGA LCD, support MP3/WMA/AAC/WAV, WMV/MPEG-SP/DivX/XviD/Motion-JPEG, and JPEG, has a SD card slot (SDHC), and FM tuner. It should be available mid December.

This by far is the ugliest storage device ever. The XS-Drive Vision 2500 has a 60GB or 160 GB hard drive, a 320 x 240 LCD display, CF type I and II support , memory stick, SD, miniSD, microSD, MMC, and xD cards, video in / out player and recorder, MP3 , ADPCM voice recording, JPEG viewer, TXT reader, and USB 2.0 connectivity. No release date yet, but the 60Gb starts at $285.
