
Sony is ready to release a new MP3 player from its Walkman W series for the Japanese market on June 13th, 2009. The Walkman W202 comes equipped with a jog wheel and a new “Zappin” song-browsing technology. The gadget will be available in black, pink, lime green and white. Its battery provides up to 12 hours of operation time. Weighing at only 35grams, the Sony Walkman W202 wearable MP3 player will retail for 10,000 Yen ($104). [AVING]

Sony’s NWZ-X1050 MP3 player boasts digital noise canceling technology and WiFi support. The gadget has a 3-inch OLED touchscreen display and Sony Digital Clear Audio Technology that will fill in the high tones which can be lost during file compression, enhance bass, minimize distortion. Here is the latest PMP from Energy Sistem that comes with a built-in speaker. Dubbed as the 30xx series, the player comes jam packed with a 1.8-inch LCD, a 16GB of storage space, an FM tuner, a built-in mic, and two headphone jacks. Samsung today introduced a new member of the Yepp MP3 player series. The Popcorn Yepp U5 boasts basic pedometer functions or M·B·A(Mountain·Bike·Athletics) and a super contrast black and white display screen. No info on pricing at this time. [Akihabara]

Samsung Korea will release its new U5 MP3 player in Korea market, which has a fitness program allowing you to know calorie consumption you can expect from exercises. The gadget features a 1-inch OLED display, Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) sound enhancement technology, an FM radio, a 2GB of internal storage, and up to 20 hours of playback time.
