Microsoft will launch the ZuneHD PMP in two new colors. The magenta and purple Zune HD will be shipped on December 1st, 2009. Too bad, there is no word on whether these new ZuneHD will be available for both 16GB and 32GB versions. Stay tuned for more updates. [Gizmodo]
Microsoft has announced the battery life of the ZuneHD. The player provides up to 33-hours of music playback and up to 8.5-hours for video playback. The device only takes 2-hours to fully charge via socket or 3-hours plugged into a PC. The 16GB model is able to hold 22-hours of HD videos, meanwhile the 32GB model can store 48-hours of high-def videos. [Engadget]

Good news for Zune owner, the latest Zune 3.1 firmware is now available. The new update will come with new games including Checkers, Sudoku and Space Battle, meanwhile Texas Hold ‘Em receives a multi-player upgrade. The new update also offers Microsoft also upgrades Zune Social enhancements that improves a visual refresh to make navigation easier, the new “Like Minded Listeners” feature that allows you see just how common or eclectic your musical tastes are compared to friends and other listeners, improved stability and performance in device firmware and desktop software.
