Dutch manufacturer Philips has exclusively launched the SA075 720P HD PMP in the Chinese market last month. The player supports a 24 bit 16-million-color touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels), supports 720p videos, and an HDMI output, so users can fully enjoy those 720p videos on a larger screen. Korean-based company, Qumo is gearing up to release another HD-capable portable media player for the Russian market namely the Qumo Vision HD. Coming in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities, these PMPs offer a 4.3-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels, an FM-tuner, an FM-transmitter, a voice recorder, an image browser, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a USB 2.0 interface, a TV-out, a 3.5mm headphone jack and are capable of playing HD-quality video (720p, 1280×720 pixels) without conversion. These player also support most audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, AVI, ASF, MP4, FLV, RM and RMVB, and come with a rechargeable battery that can last up to 21 hours of audio playback or up to 6 hours of video playback.
