Philips is back with its new portable media player ‘GoGear Muse’ for the mass market. The device sports a 3-inch QVGA screen, a 16GB of internal storage, an FM tuner with RDS and 20 presets, high-def earphones with three interchangeable ear caps and supports for DRM free tracks from iTunes. Philips has announced the price and release date of its upcoming GoGear Opus personal media player. This new PMP offers a 2.8-inch screen, an FM radio, Bluetooth A2DP wireless audio and supports 720p resolution as well as the BBC iPlayer service. Philips has just unveiled a new Mp3 player ‘GoGear LUXE’ that lets you tune in to your music and pick up calls wirelessly at the same time. This 2GB player features Bluetooth 2.1 that can be paired with the cellphone so you will never miss a call while listening to music. It also features an FM tuner, a strip of LCD that gives you the caller’s number, and a decent 10 hours of playback time with 100 hours on standby.
