Cowon has finally unveiled the availability of its new iAUDIO 9 digital audio player. In case you didn’t know, the player comes equipped with a 2-inch TFT screen (320×240) and supports most of popular multimedia files including MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMV and AVI (DviX). Measuring 95mm x 43mm x 8.9mm and weighing at just 40grams. the Cowon iAUDIO 9 will be launched in Japan in the middle of November 2009. Panasonic Japan’s latest media player is not small enough to fit in your pocket. The gadget features a 9-inch display screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a CD player, an FM radio, an iPod dock and a 4GB of internal memory. Additional features include an SD card slot, a USB port, and a built-in amplifier that provides an output of 5W × 2ch. Dutch electronics manufacturer Philips will release their new Philips SA075 HD PMP in the most populated country in the world. The gadget comes equipped with an HDMI output, a 24 bit 16-million-color touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels), and supports 720p videos. Pricing and availability info are still unknown. [IMP3]

The Teclast T58 is a new Android-based Portable Media Player that will be released very soon. Based on Rockchip’s RK2808 chipset, the player has a 1280 x 720p touchscreen display and is compatible with H.264, RMVB, MPEG-4, AVS, WMV9 video formats. The T58 also supports web surfing thanks to its WiFi connectivity. Word has it that the upcoming Teclast T58 will be priced at around $147. The Newsmy A16HD+ is another HD PMP from China that boasts 720p video recording via its AV-IN function. The player is powered by Windows CE 5.0 OS with a 5-inch 800×400 screen, and an ARM 11 CPU. The Newsmy A16HD+ HD PMP supports RM/RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT or MKV videos that can be displayed on a bigger screen via the HDMI port.
