Good news for us who lived in the States. Cowon has decided to launch the Cowon O2 portable media player in the US. As a reminder, the player features a 4.3 inch widescreen display (480 x 272 resolution), SD/SDHC memory card slot, JetEffect audio processing, 10-band equalizer, 720p HD video playback, support for a wide range of audio/visual codecs, audio recorder in FLAC format and PDF, Word, PowerPoint file reader. Cowon has officially confirmed that the new Cowon O2 and S9 PMP will be available in November 2008. As a reminder, the Cowon O2 is a 4.3-inch AMOLED player with DMB support. The new Cowon L3 Portable Media Player comes jam packed with a 7 inch touch screen display with 800 x 480 resolution, Tactile button system, SiRF Star III GPS chipset, FM transmitter, speaker and a remote control. Cowon will release another portable media player in the near future. Cowon’s upcoming O2 PMP is actually a successor of the A3. The gadget sports most of popular audio video file formats and has a 4.3inch LCD display, DMB-T tuner support, Electronic dictionary, Up to 32GB flash memory, and SD/SDHC memory card slot. Its built-in battery offers 18 hours of playback time for audio or 8 hours of playback time for video. Other specs are include built-in speakers and TV Out.
