Sony Launches New Waterproof W250 Walkman

Sony has introduced a new Waterproof W250 Walkman that is designed for sport and active lifestyles. The device is currently available in either a 2GB or a 4GB of storage space. The W250 also supports most of famous music file formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, and Linear PCM. This wearable gadget adopts the ZAPPIN technology that scans through stored tracks, playing a short sample from each song to help you find the right music for that moment. If you’re in a hurry to get active, a quick 3-minute charge gives enough power for 90 minutes listening time. A fully charged battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous playback time. Available in pink, green, black and white, the Sony W250 Waterproof Walkman will go on sale in May 2010. [Press Release]
