Samsung Electronics has rolled out the new Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1) that features a front-facing stereo speakers with SoundAlive audio enhancement. Measuring 8.99mm thin and weighing at only 118 grams, the player features a 4.2-inch WVGA display and the Google Android Gingerbread OS. Available in an 8GB or a 16GB model, the new Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1) is priced at 269,000 Won ($235) and 299,000 Won ($262), respectively. [Akihabara]
