Pioneer's Latest iPod Docks Support DLNA

Pioneer comes back with the latest iPod docking stations namely the HTD Series (XW-NAV1K-K), Audition Series (XW-NAS3/-K) and the Duo series (XW-NAC1-K and XW-NAC3-K). The HTD Series features a DVD/CD player, an FM tuner, a USB connectivity for storage, a CD-to-MP3 ripping, and a scaling of DVD video to 1080p near HD resolution via HDMI. Meanwhile, the Audition Series provides unparalleled reproduction of compressed audio files in order to provide excellent audio and video quality that Pioneer is known for. The Duo series (XW-NAC1-K and XW-NAC3-K) boasts a couple of iPod docks for two different iPods or iPhones and a Double Shuffle feature for continuous playback of music between the two docked players. The Pioneer XW-NAC1-K and XW-NAC3-K also support DLNA 1.5 home network, vTuner Internet Radio, and external storage support via USB. Priced at $299, the HTD Series will be available in June 2010. Meanwhile, the Audition Series is now available for $449. The Pioneer XW-NAC1-K and XW-NAC3-K are priced at $349 and $449, respectively. [Engadget]
