
RAmos Digital China has recently unveiled the successor to the RAmos T10. Known as the RAmos T10RK, the new PMP uses a new RK2806 chipset allowing the gadget to read video files including MPG, VOB, FLV, AVI, RM, RMVB, MKV and DAT. The RAmos T10RK also sports a 4.3-inch LED backlight screen with a 800×480 resolution and USB OTG. No word on pricing so far. [Akihabara]

Measuring just 40mm x 40mm x 12mm, this compact player features a LED display (27 dots) that allows you to play 2 different types of games: Dice or the game of paper, stone and scissors using its onboard G-sensor. The Wall of Sound (WOS) by Brothers is a huge iPod speaker that measures 950mm x 1250mm x 300mm and weighing 102 Kg. The speaker boasts 28 elements, an iPod dock, and a frequency response of 40Hz – 20,00kHz. Each unit is hand made and the second generation model is currently available for pre-order. Thanko Japan has come out with its new portable media player for the Japanese market called the AV Bank. The player boasts a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 display, a 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot and supports MP3, WMA, AVI, DivX, FLV, 3GP, RM, RMVB as well as JPEG media formats. Korean-based company, Qumo is preparing to launch another portable media player for the Russian market namely the Qumo Boxon. Coming in 2GB and 4GB capacities, this palm-sized device sports a 1.5-inch 128 x 128 TFT color display, an FM tuner, a built-in microphone, a USB 2.0 interface, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, WMA, APE, AVI as well as TXT multimedia formats. It also comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 16 hours of audio playback (when the display is off). The Qumo Boxon will hit Russia in November for 1350 rubles (about $46) for the 2GB version and 1550 rubles (about $53) for the 4GB version, respectively. [Qumo]
