Apple announced the 6th generation iPod “classic”, which comes in 80GB and 160GB capacities, with 30 hours of battery for audio playback, 6 hours of video on the 80GB version, and 40 hours / 7 hours for the 160GB unit. The iPod Classic is available in 80GB ($249) or 160GB ($349) versions. It should be hitting stores by the weekend. More pictures after the jump.
