Samsung today unveiled a couple of new PMPs at the Mobile World Congress. Based on the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, both PMPs will be known as Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 features a 1GHz processor, a 4-inch Super Clear TFT display, GPS, a 3.2MP rear camera with a front-facing VGA, 720p HD playback, H.264/DivX/Xvid/WMV video and MP3/WMA/OGG/FLAC/AAC audio support, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 8/16/32GB storage option and a microSD card for storage expansion of up to 32GB. Additional specs include an FM Radio, a voice recorder, Android Market access and a 1200mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 comes jam packed with a 5-inch WVGA TFT LCD display, a 1GHz processor, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash, a VGA camera at the front, an FM Radio, a voice recorder, an accelerometer, a digital compass, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, a choice of 8 or 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 2500mAh battery. Both gadgets are powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS.
