Edifier has announced the availability of the iF500 iPod dock entertainment system in the US market. Its large dome hosts five separate speakers and is specially designed with vibration and resonance control. Each speaker produces up to 10-Watts, meanwhile the 5.75-inch subwoofer produces 32-Watts of power. The iF500 is able to accommodate iPods, iPhones, and other portable audio players (via the auxiliary input). Other features include an integrated digital FM tuner and LED-lit controls located along the device’s base. You can purchase the Edifier iF500 for $249 each. [ipodnn]
