Bowers & Wilkins is gearing up to release the successor to its popular Zeppelin iPod Dock line-up, the Zeppelin Mini iPod Dock. Smaller than the previous model, the Zeppelin Mini offers a total output power of 2×18W, a redesigned cradle that works in both landscape and portrait orientations, a 3.5mm stereo input socket and the all new USB connectivity for bypassing the analogue output stage of an iPod and accessing its digital output. It also adds the ability to stream music direct from your PC or Mac. The Zeppelin Mini will start shipping in the UK in October for $399.
