This is getting pretty ridiculous on what kind of MP3 players keep coming out but this one is operated by just headphones so you wont have all these wires hanging out everywhere. Alpine’s systems are made specifically for use with an iPod, with a few extra features. The X200 works with Alpine’s Sound Imprint system for DSP and the X300 has USB input for getting media off non-ipod devices. Sounds like iPods will be getting hooked up this New Year! No word on pricing or availability at the moment.

In Japan, Ray-Out has announced the arrival of their brand new iPod accessories next January. They made some cases for iPod touch, iPod classic 80GB, and 3rd gen. iPod nano. It comes in white, black, navy and red. Unfortunately you’ll just have to wait and see how much these go for.
