Sony has added two new CD/iPod docks to its range in the form of the Z100iR and Z200iR. The Z100iR comes with a basic FM radio, a CD player, dual 20W speakers, a USB port and an audio-in socket. If you’re looking for a more advanced system, then check out the Z200iR, which features a 3.5-inch LCD display, a remote control and WiFi connectivity that allows you to stream media from a PC or internet radio station. Edifier has announced the availability of the iF500 iPod dock entertainment system in the US market. Its large dome hosts five separate speakers and is specially designed with vibration and resonance control. Each speaker produces up to 10-Watts, meanwhile the 5.75-inch subwoofer produces 32-Watts of power. The iF500 is able to accommodate iPods, iPhones, and other portable audio players (via the auxiliary input).
